VOLUNTEERS

Animal Aid has depended on the support of the community since they began operations in 1948.  There have been incalculable numbers of people who have donated their time and efforts to support the shelter in caring for animals in need.  This support has helped many animals find new homes, through the patience and time volunteers have spent with them.

There are a many ways volunteers can support Animal Aid.  We do recognise, however, that although many of us love our pets, some are not necessarily skilled enough to, or want to, handle the animals. There are lots of tasks that do not involve Animal Attendant duties.
