VETERINARY CLINIC - STAFF PROFILES

Please note that this page is being updated.
Veterinary Surgeons:
Dr JessMy name is Jess and I am one of the Veterinarians here at the Animal Aid. I have worked here for over 4 years and have thoroughly enjoyed it. I find it very rewarding to work in Animal Welfare and love the fact that all our clinic’s profits go towards helping needy animals. It is also great to work with such a driven, but friendly and supportive group of people. I have a cat Minko, and a dog Lily, both of whom I got here at Animal Aid.

Veterinary Nurses:

Bronwyn

Hi, I’m Bronwyn! I first came to the Animal Aid early in 2001 to adopt a kitten for our family; I went home with 2 and have been here almost ever since.

I have volunteered & worked in the main office and was the VAAT membership coordinator for some time as well assisting with the other tasks in the office. Now I have returned to the vet clinic where I am a veterinary nurse.

I love my job and the people I work with. Some days it can be very hard both emotionally and physically but when we can heal and injured or sick animal it is worth all the heart ache. I have adopted a number of cats from the Animal Aid who share my house with my two Rottweilers Alaska and Scarlet.

Here is a photo of me at work with one of the Welfare dogs who had just had surgery.

Grooming:
Linda

Hello, my name is Linda. I have been grooming for over 10 years and I have been with the Animal Aid for over 18 months. I absolutely adore my job, I love all the animals I groom and the people I work with are fabulous. I also have a menagerie of pets at home; 3 dogs, 3 cats, 3 horses, 2 sheep, chickens and a duck called Fonzi!
